Here is a photo from the first couple of days Nana was here. She got us a grill, so we have been barbecuing dinner every single day. Here is when the moon was in a strange place and brooms could stand up by themselves. No lie:
A lot has happened! As you have seen in the videos, Dylan is now crawling like a champ. We have built a little area in the apartment which is gated in (Thanks Nana Penny) and she can play with all her toys in there. We call it her romper room:
We have since these pictures gotten more padding, so the entire floor in there is padded now. Dylan is practically standing on her own now - we have caught her a couple of times standing without holding on to anything. Then of course she notices and falls immediately. No crying though, she is a tough cookie.
Also, she has been getting more teeth, seems like her molars are coming in. She has had trouble getting comfortable at night for a couple of bedtimes, but she eventually goes down and is still sleeping through the night.
It is funny trying to update this blog these days. I feel like those first few months everything was so new, and on top of that Dylan was unable to really do much, so I had motivation to give these running accounts in order to remember everything. Now that she is moving around so much, making noises, dancing (well, kind of bouncing in rhythm, which is pretty impressive I think), and interacting so much, and we are really in a routine here in Arizona, I feel like we are more just living our life as usual, so it is more difficult to distinguish what is worth posting about.
However, we plan on heading to the East coast for May, June, and July, so I will be out of routine and back in chaos so should have plenty to post about. If anyone knows about any possible jobs on the East coast this summer that involve a piano, let me know!
